By Cass Jacoby.
Soon enough, roofing season across the country will be in full swing. Now more than ever, contractors and homeowners alike demand products that are convenient and safe to install.
For any upcoming low-slope residential roofing projects, consider Bitec’s Imperflex® MSA self-adhered mineral-surfaced cap sheet. The SBS polymer-modified membrane is ideal for use on residential roofs where the slope prevents the effective use of shingles. Its self-adhering nature makes it quick and easy to install with little equipment required. Designed for safe and convenient installation on residential roofs, these self-adhering membranes require less equipment and eliminate the need for hot asphalt or an open flame during installation.
The Imperflex MSA membrane is factory-coated with colored, ceramic coated granules to provide additional protection. Most available colors will closely match existing shingles to provide a seamless appearance. Bitec also manufactures a base and underlayment to complement the system. Imperflex USA base sheet is made with SBS polymers, blended with distilled asphalt, and reinforced with a high-strength fiberglass mat to provide a solid foundation for the entire system.
Imperflex MSA is backed by a limited 10-year material warranty.
