Q - What are the top three things homeowners should ask a roofer about when looking for a replacement roof?
A - 

1. Start with finding out how long the roofer has been in business. This will help you understand if the company knows how to run a business and give you assurance that the company has the ability to stand behind their warranty.
2. Next, ask what the installation warranty is. You want to understand that versus the roofing product warranty.
3. Finally, ask what their typical roof installation looks like from start to finish. Find out about expectations and helpful hints they have for homeowners to prepare for getting their new roof.

Q - Why should homeowners seriously consider composite roofing when looking for a roof?

A - Before a project starts we have our project managers walk homeowners through what to expect. For example, items they should take off their interior walls to protect them from falling due to vibrations. We have our crew put up a temporary tarp to help protect landscaping, decks and anything below the roof line. It’s also pretty noisy, so we tell homeowners to be ready for several days of noise.

Q - If there’s storm damage involved to a roof, what tips do you have for a homeowner working with an insurance adjuster?
A - First and foremost the homeowner needs to have a knowledgeable professional on their side to help document and be able to help navigate through the process. Any true professional roofer will have a team they can work with that can step in and help the homeowner with any challenges that may come up.
