Q: What are the top three things homeowners should ask a roofer about when looking for a replacement roof?

A:

1. First of all, find out how long they’ve been in business. You want a roofer with proven experience.
2. Second, make sure that the roofer is licensed and insured.
3. And third, find out where their corporate office is located, so you can check on their references and learn more about their company.

Q: Why should homeowners seriously consider composite roofing when looking for a roof?

A:  Composite roofing is simply a smart investment for any home. It lasts longer than a vast majority of roofing products on the market today, so you end up purchasing a new roof less frequently, which saves you money in the long run. The other reason is that there’s far less maintenance with a composite roof than with almost any other roofing product I can think of.

Q: What are your best “homeowner survival tips” for getting through a roofing installation? 

A: At T-Rock Roofing, we send a checklist of tips to our homeowner clients before every project. In my viewpoint, every roofer should do this. If your roofer does not offer this type of service, it’s a red flag to be alarmed.
