By ATAS International, Inc.
ATAS International, Inc. has added yet another wall panel product to their ever-expanding offerings with the Omawall PL with EVO™ aluminum plate system. EVO™ is a patented panel extrusion attachment developed by Carter Architectural.
With fire safety in mind, this plate system is designed to be part of a wall assembly that helps to reduce fire spread. As more high-rise construction continues, paired with the close proximity of buildings within cities, there is greater cause for concern over fire safety. Having this plate system as part of a wall assembly mitigates fire spreading concerns via drained/back ventilated rainscreen designs.
This new panel has successfully undergone performance testing, including AAMA 501.1-15 (dynamic), ASTM E1233 (modified), ASTM E283, ASTM E330, and ASTM E331. It also is AAMA 508-07 compliant, which is a voluntary test method and specification for pressure equalized rainscreen wall cladding.
Omawall PL panels are prefabricated and field-cut, helping building owners save on labor and material costs. You can install the panel horizontally or vertically with a dry joint design incorporating metal splines to create the reveal appearance. Plus, Omawall PL is available in over 40 colors, including a new series of matte colors and custom colors, making this an excellent choice for high-end applications.
