No matter what industry you are in, it's important to build up your reputation with your customers. After all, customers are your backbone and play a pivotal role in leading to your success. IKO is the epitome of a company that treats their customers with the respect and dignity that they deserve.
For people who are not contractors, roofing can seem like a complicated process to understand. With a wide range of material options and decisions to make, such as whether to replace or restore, it's easy to feel overwhelmed. That's why having a team of knowledgeable professionals is crucial, and IKO goes the extra mile to explain their projects in a way that customers can easily understand.
IKO understands the importance of clear communication when it comes to roofing. They take the time to simplify the details of their projects, ensuring that their customers can navigate the decision-making process with ease. IKO empowers their clients to make informed choices that align with their specific needs and preferences.
What sets IKO apart is their dedication to educating their customers. They strive to bridge the knowledge gap by providing straightforward explanations and guidance, making the entire roofing experience more accessible and less daunting.
“We don't want anybody to feel pressured. We're big into education and that's something that we really stress on our sales team. It's like ‘Hey let's educate the customer because roofing is something that most people only deal with once or twice in their life,’” says IKO contractor, Ben Hoffman. “If you look at our roofing industry today compared to 30 years ago there's been a lot that's changed, so we need to educate our customers and not just be like ‘Hey sign these papers, let's get it done, you know throw on the roof.’ Let's educate them! That's something that we really strive for as a company.”
