Mr. Roofing is the November R-Club Roofer of the Month!

Each month, The Coffee Shops highlight the stories and successes of our R-Club members through the Roofer of the Month program! For the month of November, podcast host Alex Tolle sat down with Carlos Rodriguez, CEO of Mr. Roofing, to showcase the story of the company’s hard working and talented employees.  

Since 1989, Mr. Roofing has served its community in the San Francisco Bay Area with top quality service and professionalism. Over the last three decades, the company has become a well-trusted name in the local construction industry. Carlos took over the family business in 1998 from his father, expanding their services to include roofing, solar installation and electrical work.  

By providing all three of these services, Mr. Roofing is centering themselves as a one-stop-shop expert on all things roofing related. That way, anything a customer might need done on their home’s roof, Mr. Roofing is there to help in any scenario. “I want us to be the primary contractor when it comes to all things roofing,” he explained.  

Besides being a valuable resource for customers, Mr. Roofing also places emphasis on making sure their team is focused on building a positive work environment. Carlos shared, “My primary role is to make sure that we're honoring our mission, vision, values, our core focus and our teammates. And roofing is the best-kept secret, so I have a lot of fun in what we do, and I want to make sure my teammates do as well.” Nicknaming himself the “chief enthusiasm officer,” Carlos emphasized the importance of his role as a team leader.  

He takes a lot of pride in Mr. Roofing’s customer service, too. “We don't pay for reviews. We don't do anything like that. We want it to really be organic and genuine, so when someone's considering working with us, awarding us a contract, that it's honest and comprehensive... There's no greater compliment than a client using our service again and awarding us additional work, and/or referring us. I think that's really the ultimate measure of really top-notch customer service.”
