MRA’s quarterly honorees for 2023 will be selected in March, June, September and December.

When it comes to setting the bar sky high for quality, creativity and a job well done, the Metal Roofing Alliance (MRA) is on the hunt for this year’s most outstanding metal roofing projects as the organization kicks off its 2023 Best Residential Metal Roofing Project quarterly competition.

Open to U.S. and Canadian homeowners, contractors, installers and manufacturers, MRA officials will select one outstanding metal roofing project each quarter, based on criteria including project appearance, performance, installation expertise and originality/use of materials. Winners will receive a $300 cash prize and have their home or project featured on MRA’s website and across the organization’s digital channels. This year, MRA also plans to partner with RoofersCoffeeShop® and MetalCoffeeShop™, a leading digital resource for the trades, to help drive entries for the competition and recognize each of the winners.

Interested participants may upload their project photo, along with an optional 200-word or less description for why their metal roofing project is worthy of top honors online at metalroofing.com. MRA’s quarterly honorees for 2023 will be selected in March, June, September and December and only residential metal roofing projects in the U.S. and Canada will be considered.

As an example of the tremendous difference a metal roof can make, last year’s quarterly winners included a variety of unique and beautiful projects, showcasing a range of architectural styles and installation accomplishments. 2022 MRA Best Residential Metal Roofing Project honorees were McElroy Metals and GreenLeaf Roofing for a modern lake home project located in Texas; Worthouse, Inc. for a palatial home in Florida; NU-Ray Metal and C&C Roofing for a complex new construction project in Kennewick, Washington; and Cornett Roofing Systems and Modern Metal Roofing for a re-roofing project which included a residential solar system in Cincinnati, Ohio.

“Metal roofing has grown tremendously in popularity and homeowners everywhere are experiencing the many advantages of quality metal roofs,” said Renee Ramey, MRA executive director. “This is a way to honor the outstanding work and best practices that our members work hard to help demonstrate, support and promote all year long.”
