Red Rocks Amphitheater is planning on returning to live concerts in a big way, they are close to finishing their stage renovation, now in the second-to-last phase with the stage area receiving a stunning new copper roof. The famous venue is known for their “rain or shine” shows, and now finally has a roof that can make good on that promise by being able to continue shows in even the most erratic Colorado weather.
The illustrious project was given to Superior Roofing, Inc. last summer for their high safety standards, client satisfaction and high-quality construction. Superior's Project Manager, Drew Candlin, has said that he and his team have worked hard to deliver Red Rocks the stage roof it deserves.
The location of Red Rocks in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains is filled with challenges. However, Drew has attested that there are no obstacles Superiors Roofing won’t overcome to supply a long-lasting roof. The impressive new copper roof supplied by Aurubis, the world's leading copper suppliers from Germany. The copper was shipped in rolls and is being built on top of the roof by Superior’s teams.
The beautiful Nordic Brown Copper Standing Seam roof is an 8,500-square-foot project and is a feather in the cap for commercial sheet metal roofing.
Drew said the Red Rocks Amphitheatre Stage roof replacement is a paramount project in his eight-year career at Superior Roofing. This is a once in a lifetime project to provide one of the world's most beautiful music venues a roof for decades to come.
