In this episode of the AskARoofer Podcast, Megan Ellsworth and Lauren White are back and hosting Dawn Ciocca of Weatherproofing Technologies Incorporated (WTI), a subsidiary of Tremco. Dawn has spent over 25 years with WTI, working in everything from their roof inspection production department to logistics coordinator and dispatching. Now, she is their “director of enterprise accounts, which heads a team that is currently responsible for managing over 160 million square feet.”
The program manager is assigned as a resource not only to the customer, but to as a communication bridge with internal teams. Dawn explained, “They are responsible for the execution of all tasks for that specific account and making sure that all parties involved in that process understand the requirements and their role in executing that work.” By having this point person, it is easier for building owners to keep up with maintenance of their properties and the program manager’s ties to the rest of WTI’s services makes the process of getting field technicians out more efficient.
Dawn elaborated a bit more on what this looks like in practice. “Owners will have access to everything through our online roof management system. This is the database where all of these inspections will be housed. We've got the ability to house all of their warranty information in here,” she shared. This is the routine process; for special cases, like water damage after a storm, owners can access a 24/7, 365 call center to report the issue. Then their program manager will make sure that a WTI technician is sent out and the issue resolved as soon as possible.
