Hello Allisha,

Allisha,
I do not know what your balcony surface is. Still, an elastomeric coating can be used on any compatible surface, as the coating manufacturer recommends. It is recommended that sand is broadcasted onto the finished coating layer before it dries so it is a rougher surface for preventing slips. The manufacturer will have the information required for that mixture.
