Amy Storm: Shelter for the Storms

This interior designer shares how DaVinci composite roofing tiles provided an authentic looking option to natural slate and cedar for her own home.

Have you heard of influencer Amy Storm with Amy Storm & Company? A skilled interior designer out of Illinois with a tremendous following, Amy has helped more than 600 families create the home of their dreams. 

Last year it was time for Amy to do the same for her own family.

From the ground up, Amy and her husband Josh designed and built their dream home in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. They call it Shelter for the Storms. And they created an online series of videos so that people can follow along in the process. 

Roof overhead 

Of course, when you’re looking for shelter from any storm, you’re concerned about the roof overhead. That’s why the DaVinci Roofscapes team was so excited when Amy chose DaVinci Single-Width Slate composite roofing to cover their home.

The Class A fire and Class 4 impact resistant roofing from DaVinci resists algae and mold growth, along with cracking and rotting.
