Register Roofing is the January R-Club Roofer of the Month

Register Roofing is a commercial roofing contractor in Jacksonville, Florida that has been a trusted name in the Southeast for over 40 years. With a team of state-certified roofing and general contractors, their versatility allows them to provide services ranging from immediate roof repair to multi-million-dollar roof replacements. 

Lincon Register is the second-generation president of Register Roofing and Sheet Metal inc. “My mother and father started the business back in 1981 and I went to the University of Florida did the construction program from 2007 to 2010 and then began working with the company immediately following,” Lincon tells RCS.  

From new construction to replacement, maintenance and repair, Register Roofing is committed to letting building managers, property owners and general contractors focus on other responsibilities while handling every commercial roofing need. 

"Historically we were always just a low-slope roofing contractor,” says Lincon. “Recently, in the last three to five years, we've expanded into standing-seam metal panels as well as metal siding, so whether that be architectural, concealed or exposed fastener metal panels we're doing a lot of insulated metal panels.”  

“Don't get me wrong, commercial roofing is our bread and butter, it’s what we're doing 90% of the time and that's what we're good at,” adds Lincon. 

Register Roofing celebrates their focus on their employees first and foremost. “We would not be a successful organization without successful people. And that goes for management, for my right hand and my division managers, but more importantly for the people actually putting the roof on,” says Lincon.  

“We ask ourselves, how does Register Roofing position itself to show as much appreciation for employees as possible?” says Lincon. “We do that in a couple ways, with benefits number one.” Lincon shares how rewarding it has been to provide exceptional benefits to employees, including 401K’s and healthcare.  

He also states that Register Roofing takes care of their employees in terms of safety and training, and is proud of the exceptional way they prepare their workforce. Lincon says, “At the end of the day it’s all about caring about our employees and making sure they are working safe and have the best working experience possible here at Register Roofing.”
