Molded TPO Joint covers are used by contractors in the roofing installation to cover the intersections of more than three layers of membrane. If you want to ensure that your roof is sealed and watertight, then you need FlashCo® ’s FlashAccessory Molded TPO T-Joint Covers. FlashCo marks four points on the T-joints that make centering over step offs accurate and easy.
During the installation, your contractor will:
1 - Prepare all welding surfaces by cleaning with TPO membrane cleaner.
2 - Center T-Joint Cover over the intersection in the membrane field using four indicators as reference.
3 - Begin heat welding at center point, progressing outwards as they weld.
4 - Completely weld the cover, using the edge of the roller to press the T-Joint Cover into step-offs.
Features and benefits:
Saves labor time in comparison to field fabrication
Each T-Joint Cover is uniform in shape and size
Indicators at four points make centering patches easy and accurate
Faster and easier to prepare and apply than hand cut patches
Injection molded with quality TPO for reliable welds
