Since 2008, Industrial Roofing and Construction has been providing commercial and industrial roofs to the Louisiana area. The company has seen tremendous growth in the 15 years they’ve been in business, largely in part due to their emphasis on taking care of their employees. Recently, we named them our July R-Club Roofer of the Month and spoke with their owner, Larry Courson, in a recent podcast.
Industrial Roofing and Construction specializes in working on industrial buildings in Louisiana, including paper, pulp and oil buildings. They also do deck removals and replacements and provide repairs to steel roofs and siding. The company also strives to give their customers a positive experience when working with them.
“One of the mottos that we have is to ‘say what you mean, mean what you say, then go make it happen,’” he says. “What's going to set us apart for people to call Industrial Roofing is our service has to be better than everybody else's, and again, we say what we mean, mean what we say, and then we go perform it and make it happen.”
Larry attributes the success of their company to their employees, many of whom have been with the company from the beginning. He tells us that they try to limit turnover rates by taking care of their employees. They try to celebrate their workers, stating that one woman in their office makes a point to celebrate every employee’s birthday.
“She makes a big deal out of all of our employee's birthdays, and their family's birthdays, and their children's birthdays. And we have get-togethers where we have cookouts and things of that nature, and Christmas parties,” he says. “I think we celebrate everything going on in their lives, I think what we try to celebrate life itself.”
